We were very disappointed since all the reviews were really good for this camera. The water was clear enough where I thought the pictures would turn out better since we used a disposable camera without flash the last time we were in Crystal Rive, FL. We used this camera to swim with the manatees and we ended up trashing most of the pictures. Because we weren't in super super clear water like in Hawaii, the pictures didn't turn out that great even though there's a flash.
The rolls were Kodak 800 (the best you can get) and I followed all instructions (I am tech guy, so it's not an issue).Next time I will buy one-time use Kodak or other brand underwater camera, but this one is trash. They even did not charge me in the processing center, because there was nothing to print. Two rolls of films (24 each) and NO pictures at all. I just come back from my vacation to Caribian, where we did a lot of snorkeling. I bought this camera specially for this trip and used it a lot.Can you imagine my feelings when there were NO ONE picture that you can see.
However, in contrast to their great customer rating, I never heard back from them. Wait, thats the wrong way around. I immediately sent an email to the company requesting another camera or my money back and noted the shipping costs that were paid for the weight of one camera. I recently bought two reusable underwater cameras from Adorama Camera through Amazon. Beware the deal you will get from shopping with Adorama Camera - they're in it for themselves apparently. How wrong I was. The reviews for this company looked great so I felt I couldn't go wrong. I paid for two, but got one.
But for $20, it does what it claims: underwater 35mm with a dinky flash. You are limited sometimes since the flash is not on a cord. I am a Nikon SLR guy, but I wanted something cheap for snorkling. This camera actually works.
